Radiator Fan 94 honda accord

I have a 94 Honda Accord...if i drive my car for about an hour, and then turn it off, my raditor turns on automatically, is there a way I can make it where the radiator doesn't turn on again?

This is controlled by a thermostat to cool the engine after its been run. I think you should let it do what it's supposed to. Leave it alone.

I just noticed this yesterday, after I turn off my 94 accord, i still hear the radiator fan spinning. I'm not sure if this is normal. I went back, started the car again, gave it a little gas and turned it off again, and this time, the fan stopped spinning. The same exact thing happened today. How can I troubleshoot this problem?

It is totally normal for some vehicles to have the cooling fans keep operating for several minutes after the key is turned off. They sense that the coolant is extremely hot and are commanded on by the PCM if the ECT(electronic coolant temperature sensor) sends a signal to the PCM that a certain temperature has been reached.

go to the yellow pages and call a used/salvaged auto parts shop. Call several. Give the year, model and specific part type you are looking for. They will look it up for you. Advance Auto, Auto Zone, O'Reilly's Auto Parts (if they are in your area) and dealerships' parts departments can give you prices for new ones as well. Good luck
